In this post, I am going to discuss with the employment problem faced in India. English has become a necessary medium for communication and for earning a job in the job market. There are certain companies which require practical knowledge and skills rather than your communication skills. But, most of the white collar jobs definitely require these communication skills. There are certain countries that require their own language knowledge and certain more that require English communication skill.
Most of the parents are admitting their children in the schools and colleges that comprises of English as their medium of communication. This is basically to survive well in this competitive world. Is it necessary to give importance to a language in particular ? It is not so, but the language with which most of the people are comfortable in this world in terms of percentage. Most of the students get basic English knowledge for communication. They all have the collection of words and the method to convey their message to other people. After all communication is just done to convey ideas or knowledge to other people.
Even after knowing quite a large number of words in English language, there are lot of people who are struggling with the words which they use while communicating with others. The beginning of all these comes from the earlier stages of one's career, that is schooling. Though the medium might be English, still many students communicate with their friends in their regional language or national language. When someone comes out to speak up in English, there are a lot of people who brings them down. The same culture repeats in college unless they choose a diversified college, where people from different parts of country enroll themselves.
These struggle won't be known, until they face off their interviews on companies. Even though they might know the correct answer, they would struggle for framing a proper sentence. It would be difficult for them to prepare a proper presentation and deliver to their clients. The next problem arises when they have interaction with the clients or vendors. This problem can be removed only when we have at least 50% of our day to day conversation in English.

Communication skills are really important these days. One can be great at what they are but if they cannot express their skills and talent, they tend to be on the losing side. I wish this was not the case, but words are how we impress the person in front who might otherwise not know anything about us.
