PREVENTING UNNECESSARY WASTAGE

                                         We all know how important, the wastage is happening and I am just going to describe about already known thoughts regarding wastage, certain might be different from what others do speak. Wastage should be prevented in all forms of life. The term wastage that we come across might be jewelry wastage. Because, the advertisement of jewellery shop or textile showroom is being displayed often in television. The next waste that am going to discuss is about the waste that happens in manufacturing sector. There are various jobs being offered for those, who are expert in minimizing the waste. They are also performing certifications like Lean manufacturing to reduce the wastage.

                                         The above discussed wastes are essential for the professional life of people, but when we come to the personal life, there are two important wastage that needs to be avoided and that is the need of the day. Yes, all we all know those two things are food and water wastage. I came across this food wastage in the mess where I intake food. There are around 200 people having food in that mess. The left over has been calculated in terms of kilograms and the result was shocking. The amount of  food wasted by those, who are consuming food was around 10kg, which would be sufficient enough to feed 40 people. According to the statistics taken by UNICEF, 161 million people are suffering from hunger. In the overall population of the world, 2.3 % people are suffering from hunger.

                                       If we prevent these wastage, the amount of food will be sufficient enough for the people suffering from hunger and we can prevent them from dying. On the other hand, if we take a look into the water wastage, we all know that, the water level in the environment in getting reduced day by day. People should understand that the water resources are getting scarce, atleast we can live without food, for comparatively higher time period than water, water is still more important, water and food are interrelated. If we conserve water, there is a chance for providing water for farmers which will effect in increase of food crops and in-turn result in reducing hunger. We can say that wastage in not in our control, but atleast to a certain extent we can control these wastages.
