Cricket is a sport which is known as a gentleman game. There should not be any exchange of words or violence involved in a game. They should just consider it as a game and play it with a sportsmanship spirit. Though, It is not a national game of India. There are most people in India who love cricket than any other sport. If we consider Cricket as a Religion, then IPL can be considered as the festival for the religion called Cricket. Players are worshiped as god by many people. The summer season in India can also be termed as Cricket Season.
This is due to the importance given to that game. Summer season is a vacation time for many of the school going children. They are mostly attracted to Cricket. Thus it is the correct time to earn money. After all people entertainment and the organizers need profit. Both the criteria would be satisfied during this time period. There would be a huge liking for the people to view the matches on Stadium. Then they would be spending time on the fantasy cricket leagues to earn cash and money. They would be thinking or predicting the result of the match.
If their favorite player plays well or team wins, that would be a huge pleasure for them. A season which consists of a total of 59 matches having at least one match per day and 2 matches during the weekends. What more is needed to call that as a season. The best thing about organizing the game is to develop new talents and recruit the young players. But, people should not take this to heart and develop hatred to a player. It is not possible for any player to perform on all the days. There might be some crunch situations or pressure situations that might result in a mistake committed by a player.
Cricket is just a team game and no individual can be blamed for loss or no individual can be praised for success. The credit belongs to whole team including the support staffs who stood with the players during their tough times. This is the 10th season of our IPL and still it is fresh as the inaugural seasons, but there may be certain ups and downs but everything is part and parcel of the game. Hope this season of cricket entertains our people in the same manner which it has done in past seasons.
