This is one of the stories i remember in the history subject. I apologize if i say something wrong. Adam apple is usually found for the male on their front part of the neck, where the vocal chord is present. It will be present for male who have crossed their puberty age. This brings about the change in voice. According to what my history teacher had explained, god created the world with the increasing order of sense. The single sense creatures were created first, then 2,3,4,5 and at last the the sixth sense that is human being who evolved from guerrillas.
During those times, there were no need for people to work and earn. The sand present near beaches were the filled with food grains and other necessary materials for human being to eat and live. God created that with a condition that, the food taken by people needs to be consumed only for that particular time period and for the next period they need to come again and consume the food. Initial stages these Adam and eve were obeying that rule. But after sometime, the effusive explosion of laziness started to began in the minds of people.
They started to visit that place where food was available with utter laziness and they started to store them and use it whenever they wanted, the condition of good was violated, god was patient enough for few days, but he was not able to withstand this laziness from human being. He immediately emerged to them and converted the place where food was available into sand. If this happens people will be very lazy, so he wanted them to learn the importance of labor. He not only did this, he told that men will develop a kind of extra part on their front neck.
immediately all the Adam's have developed it. People were confused what name has to be given to them. They did not know much about that. They liked apple as their favorite fruit and imagined that the extra portion resembled the apple. Since, it is developed only for male gender, who are termed as Adam, the name Adam apple emerged. I don't know how far this is true, I shared as far as i remember. If anyone knows better than this about the history, the need not hesitate to comment in the comments section.
