Everyone in this world, wanted to have their own house, which is the third most needed after food and clothing. The people who are staying in the rented house, especially wanted to move on to their own house. It is a good move to bring on the process of selling land at affordable prices for the people who are having low level or middle level income. But, the question that arises here is people won't be satisfied with the single property they have, they try to keep on expanding their wealth. What if these houses again move on to richer people, who can afford to buy many houses at this cheap rate and if it does not reach the poor people, who all wished to have a own house.
Another question that arises in my mind is, there are a lot of agricultural lands that has been destroyed as the owner of those lands have been stuck with their debts and in order to repay their debts, they are forced to sell their lands at lower prices. These lands become plots and which are sold at higher price than the price that they have purchased from the owners. So, may be if we consider it might benefit the people from lower level income, it is again resulting in a bad cause by reducing the property of a farmer and also reduces the food production of a country which is more dependent on agriculture for its economy.
Everyone must have come across the term called plot for sale. Which means that there is some plot which is being sold to people. But, the real scenario that is happening is the sale for the plot, which might sound similar but the meaning is entirely different. A sale for the plot denotes that, a plot which is not an exact plot is being targeted and if the yields are not proper, these poor farmers are made to undertake loans and if they are not able to repay the loans, they are made to sell their property for the debts at cheaper prices and which are sold to poor income people at a profitable price. On one aspect, the poor people purchasing those lands might be benefited, but on the other hand, the person who is selling the land has to undergo a disastrous phase. Something, has to be done to create a win-win situation for both the parties and not the intermediate one.
