ALL THE WAY FOR HALWA

                                 Alwa is one of the famous sweets in Tamil Nadu and it is renown all over the world. Such is the wonderful taste of alwa. It might be present in most of the parts of Tamil Nadu. But, the real tasty alwa is present only in the Thirunelveli district. The major ingredients needed to make alwa includes Suji,sugar,water,ghee,cardamom,shredded almonds to garnish.There is one place known as "Iruttu Kadai"( Dark shop if we translate in English), it is the place where the Halwa has it's best taste. Usually, we won't halwa much. But after getting some friends who belong to Thirunelveli district. Alwa has become usual sweet for us at least once in a month.

                                 Whenever that friend goes to his native, we ask them to bring Halwa, such is the specialty of the dish. It might be too much oily, but the way it starts entering our mouth, it would be so light and we won't even realize  that we have finished eating it. Usually, that guy brings Halwa during the lunch break and there would be a definite tug of war, that would be happening to get the pieces of Halwa. We even named one of our friends by the name of halwa as he used to belong to that place of thirunelveli.

                                Not only that main halwa, there have been many dishes of Halwa, that can be made. The halwas can be made with having fruits or carrots as major items. It may be carrot halwa or kajar halwa or apple halwa and so on. The alwa made up of wheat also would be of greater taste. I actually started to write more about the tastiness of Halwa but due to the lack of points, I started to write about the types and making still I did not get any content for writing.
