SOFTWARE TRINITY

                                       This is just an imaginary post and not written in the intention to hurt the feelings of individuals or hurt the religious sentiments of people. According to Hindu mythology, there are 3 gods The creator(Brahma), The protector(Vishnu) and The Destroyer(Shiva). And there are human beings who are subjected to them and monitored by all these gods. In the similar scenario, we can consider the software as the human being. There are three major departments in Software industry which are development,support and maintenance, testing.

                                        Now it is just a fiction to compare the role of these gods with those who are working in the software field. The main work done by Brahma is creation of the human being, which is similar to that of  the development team of the software. The process involves the activities for the beginning of child and till the child reaching the earth. This is similar to that of the activity of developer from the stratch code till the deployment of the code, it is their responsibility, so we can term those developers as creators.

                                      The next role that we are going to see is the protector, Lord Vishnu will protect people during their tough times and never let people down. He protects those who are created by others also. Similarly, we have the production support and maintenance people, who ensures that software is protected, up and running. They never let the software down, works hard to make sure that the software works in a proper manner. The time-span for this support is generally more, sometimes they need to create as well as test the code.

                                       The last but not the least, the destroyer known as Lord Shiva. He is the person whom we can reach by doing small mistakes. He destroys us as it is the duty assigned to him. The similar kind of role would be undertaken by the testing people. These people, would find the small mistakes present in the software and destroy them and sends them back, they don't bother about that outcomes as they never want any bugs to arise. So, this is just an imaginary post for a weird comparison, nothing should be taken in person.

OVER CAUTIOUS

              One Kind of behavior that should not be possessed by all is over-cautious. It is good to be cautious, but over cautiousness limits the expansion of ones freedom. There would be a lot of restrictions that will be levied on the person when they feel him to be over-cautious. Being overcautious might result in minimizing the error, but there is never a assurance that the error will never happen at all. Definitely, the person needs to get some leverage in doing their works.
