This post is to just recall the memory of all the students who finished their college life and the same is dedicated to all the college students. In school life, we used to study most of the time. But, college education is made in such a way that, we search for portions and collect the notes the day before the exam. We might somehow manage to cover the syllabus, so that we can mould ourselves to get the pass mark.We might have studied something in home and some while coming to college, but that all doesn't help much as the friend's help during the last few minutes before the exam.
This is the methodology obtained by most of the college students in their life especially engineering students, who want to get pass marks. We will eliminate those toppers who aim of getting the high scores. Let us just focus on the average and below average students. We had one guy in our gang, he knows the working principle of almost all the electrical and electronic equipment as he has completed diploma with work experience. We just memorize the circuit diagram for each and every model or equipment. This circuit diagram's working principle will be explained in detail by that friend in 5 mins. That would be easier to understand the concept rather than studying whole night.
We would have a maximum of 2 hours left before the exam and we would be worried when we fail to find that guy who would explain us the whole concepts. Understanding the concept itself a great thing to do, more than that, they have the capability to make their friends understand the concepts with such an ease. This was a never ending process, we can count the number of exams that we studied or wrote without the help of some guy who explains the concepts prior to exams, that is very few in number. Such is our dependence on our friends. Not only a single guy, certain guy might be good in explaining the numerical and derivations etc.
There are certain people who are good in certain aspect. If a person is good in all the aspect that person won't involve in this last few minutes and their focus will be mainly on scoring the maximum possible mark. The gang consists of individual talents which groups into themselves and then make all the others clear that exam, but one difficult factor to overcome in this methodology, one who explains most of the concepts will score the least marks. During those days, i felt is the way we studied engineering, but now i realise that there is no better way than this.
