Each and everyone in this world needs a career path that needs to be followed. usually everyone wants to move from a lower position in their career and reach the higher levels. But the preference of each and every one's career path varies. The five major factors which a person might consider before choosing their career path are Job Security, Good salary, Good working environment, Job satisfaction and Company's image. The one who feels that all these are fulfilled for them, is the most happiest employee in this world. It is rare occasions in which at least 3 or 4 of these needs are fulfilled. Some of them have 2 of the five satisfied and rest would any one among them. Some don't even have one.
The first most important thing in that is Job Security which mainly occurs in government jobs, where people feel that their job is secured and have unions if any kind of threat or issue with jobs to resolved their issue. When we take the salary into considerations, the corporate are the place where there is a huge salary being provided but the change of remaining in that job is very less. Working environment is better in those companies compared to government jobs. There are lot of people who are not satisfied with the jobs they perform but doing it for the sake of running their family. Mostly, the image of the corporate companies are always high till they get stuck in any kind of legal issues and the reputation of the company is not getting damaged.
A working person mainly depends on the salary earned, with the help of which their needs are satisfied. The next importance would be for the security of the job, the person might be happy with the job they have and salary they might get, but if there is any fear of losing job, then he might commit a lot of mistakes. The last important thing is job satisfaction, the liking towards the job one does. Even it can be compromised as far as he is getting salary and job is being secured. The remaining two are not given much of an importance and they both are interdependent. I would consider that we must plan a career that ensures job satisfaction and security, which automatically helps us perform better which further results in increment in salary. There must be a very less botheration for remaining two.
