IMPORTANCE OF TAGLINES

                                        There are many products in this world. Each product comes under one brand at the most. The brand has some catchy words which attracts the customers to purchase the product and services. These catchy words are known as taglines. We can do business without taglines, but these taglines gets the immediate attention from the customer. The taglines must be attractive as well as explain about the product in few words. The length of tagline should not be more than 10 words, as it might be too lengthy. People does not like to spend so much time on them.

                                        There is a chance of getting replacement of taglines after some decades and there are certain products and services whose taglines remain the same after number of years. We can take Adidas, the tagline states that "Impossible is nothing", it states that we can do anything while wearing a product of Adidas, though there is no possibility of doing everything, this positive tagline gives hope for the purchaser of this product. There are certain brands which have very small taglines that are worth it. Apple has a tagline of "Think Different" which means they are great innovators.

                                        There are taglines that contributed to success as well as failure of a product, certain taglines have been misleading and have resulted in failure of the products. Taglines should be made understanding the current mindset of people, certain taglines are not being changed since they are suitable for all the generations. There are certain brands that use jingles instead of these taglines, that are even more catchy when compared to these taglines. It needs some field work and understanding to frame a tagline. There would be a lot of rejection from the team that is working on it and a final taglines might take a lot of effort in it.
