Whatever sports it may telecast, but the way of attracting the audience is amazing. Though, there are more sports and more games, which have a greater TRP. I am going with Cricket which I like the most and know something about that sports. There are various categories of Test, ODI, and T20's and amongst T20's, there are various leagues sponsored by various countries. I agree that test match provides the least TRP whereas the T20's provides most TRP.
There is an hype created for certain clashes, that are always rated higher. We can take the ashes series for instance. The match between England and India, the cup size is very small, but the expectation and hype is too high. But, as audience we feel that it is the correct hype being given.
