RAILWAY CATERING SERVICE

                                      Railways is a sector which is coming across lot of passengers who are in turn the customers. There are certain places in the country where local trains are also available and certain places where only express and super fast trains are developed. It is the one of the cheapest and comfortable mode of transportation in our country. Local trains travel is just for a few minutes. But, there are lot of trains in which there will be a extended travel. During those cases, the catering service comes into play. If you try packed foods during the entire travel it won't help.

                                       We would be making use of the catering services that are being provided. In most of the cases, the food prepared by these catering services are not good. Private contractors are being appointed for providing this service. There is a lot of commission being involved in providing these contracts. This is also a business and profit is the main goal of this, but they compromise a lot on the quality of products they provide. They consider their passengers as a one time customer and there is a no regular customer and they are happy with the profit they earn and not ready to provide quality products.

                                      The main advantage of them is being single player in this market. They also provide these products at a high cost. let us consider an example which i recently referred from internet. A customer noticed it stating that, there was a meals which could cost around Rs50 including all the costs and expenses, but the selling price is Rs90. It shows the theft happening in the service. Hunger is common for all. Everyone can't afford to buy these products but at least the good quality service must be provided for the amount they get and government can undertake this contracts instead of handing over them to private
