Education is the most needed for people to live in this modern world. Even if you are rich and uneducated there is a chance of getting cheated by people and there will be lot of backstabbers, who used to cheat you from behind. It is always a necessary feature in our career. Once upon a time, education was of creating value and helping people to form a better society. But, after some time Education has become a business and involves only money. People should understand that education cannot be bought with the help of money.
Everything related to education has become money oriented. Most of the cases, teachers want to produce better results than better students. The institutions want to provide more marks than values. The main drawback of the educational system is the privatization of the educational systems. The education system must be under the control of government. But, we have these wine shops under government rather than having the schools and colleges. Very few government institutions are available.
People are keen to work on the government offices but even most of the government servants, don't want their wards to study in government institutions. The most disastrous thing about the education system is the admission process. There are lot of people who are ready to pay donations for the institutions to obtain seats. Even the higher studies wont cost that much but parents are spending lot to make their children study in kinder gardens. Most of the schools want the parents of the wards to be educated, as they can clear their doubts at home. Even small kids are being tortured to go tuition, rather than enjoying childhood. The kids who are good at extra-curricular activities are being compelled to attend tuition and special classes rather than developing talents in the skills they possess.
Knowledge is important, but the values also should be cultivated through education. But, at present there is more importance for knowledge than values. That is the reason that people are getting into all kind of illegal activities. They are being taught to be first and rich, rather than possessing good values. So, it should be made mandatory to admit the children of government officials and standards of government schools should be maintained equal to that of private schools. Commercialization of education can never be eradicated completely, but at least they can be reduced and controlled to a certain extent.
