This is a general post about one of my favourite games, Chess. There is a lot of connect to life with the chessboard. There are 8 pawns who acts as soldiers to protect their King. King can be the leader or head of the family. The queen is the lady head of the family and the King's wife. She has more powers when compared to King. But, she does everything to protect the King. The pawns may be the servants of the King. They are ready to fight with the soldiers of the opponent king and ready to sacrifice their life. The different nature character is Horse. It never goes in a straight direction. It takes up the shape of the English alphabet "L".
The Rook or Elephant is the one that moves only in straight path. The straight path can be in vertical or horizantal direction. The Elephant can castle with the king to give more protection. The elephant has more power next to the queen. The Bishop is the one that can move only in diagonal path and there are two of them in which one moves in black and another one moves in white till the end. The soldiers have a special benefit, if they reach the edge of the opponent's territory, they can become anything they wish for except the king. Last but not the least, we must know the powers of queen, the queen can move either in straight path both horizantally and vertically or diagonal path also.
Each and every member of the chess board is very important. Even a small pawn can make a difference. Chess is a game that is played to improve the decision making skills. It improves our intelligent quotient and makes us think in the shoes of others. We will try to play our move as well as thinking about the action that would be done by our opponent. What if we do this and what if we don't do this. Atlast, it teaches us that for our survival, we can destroy the opponent and can sacrifice our people. The similar is happening in most of the countries, the people are sacrificed to make the survival of the politicians.
