Education should be means of mutual learning. The students as well as teachers must learn new things in a mutual way. There are a lot of things to be learnt from the students of this generation who have a better grasping powers than those of the previous generations. The classroom sessions must be interactive rather than the one way traffic. There are a lot of students who get some brilliant doubts and teacher might appreciate them. There are a few students who might ask stupid doubts, no doubts are stupid until and unless doubt arises all doubts are equally good. The doubt that I mentioned as stupid are those that are considered as stupid by teachers.
I really appreciate people those who get doubt, this doubt needs to be clarified. It is not necessary that the doubts needed to be clarified only on classroom sessions, it can be clarified personally also. But, a lot of students have doubts in their mind and fears to ask them inside the class. What, if my classmates think me as a fool or stupid. They might make fun of me and teacher might scold me are some of the fears that arises in the mind of students. So, they fail to raise the questions. They are also better, atleast they are getting some doubts, which indicates that they have understood something or other. There are a most number of people who never asks any questions and for whom the doubt never comes.
Those people for whom the doubt never arises can be classified into two groups. Either they must have understood everything or they must have understood nothing. The probability of belonging to first group, the chances are very minimal. I am one among those lot, who never gets doubt as the understanding level is nullified or minimal. I always wanted to raise some questions but I never get the right questions to be asked. This exhibits the clear level of understanding that I have.Sometimes, the questions have arised, but again what If the teacher misunderstoods and the classmates make fun of me. These thoughts have stopped me from raising questions. These are all minute things, but we are failing to question those who are in political powers. If we question them properly and make them feel the threat of losing power, they would definitely try to implement some welfare schemes. Hope, we do the same.
