As all of us know the game of snake and ladder. The ultimate goal of the game is to use the ladders and escape from the snakes and reach the destination. of course, the destiny of the game is decided by the rolling of dice that is based on luck. In the corporate the dice is none other than the technology that we adopt. The technology needs to be updated, this learning of technology provides us the ladder to move forward in the career. But, if the technology gets outdated,we will end up to the mouth of snake and drag our position down and end up as snake's tail, which is happening in many of the corporate companies.
There are a lot of automation that are being involved in the companies and the peoples are being laid off from the companies. Corporate provides them huge career growth like the ladders of the game but suddenly they send snakes and remove people from their jobs which is similar to the activities done by the snakes. There is always no guarantee in the snake and ladder games that, the one who climbs ladder will reach the destination first. There might be a poisonous snake to drag them down quickly. So, there is a steady person who neither gets stuck in ladder or snake have a higher probability to win.
Corporates fail to look after the services rendered by the employees, they just bother a lot in cost cutting. That is the reason of the reduced employee retention rate in the organizations. Corporates make employees greedy by showing the ladder, but suddenly they drag them down with the help of snakes. So, I would like to conclude by saying that corporates are already ruining the lives of a lot of people who are not associated with them. They must atleast ensure that, some benefits are provided to the employees to climb up when they are suddenly dragged down by the snakes.Got inspired from the below book to write on this topic:
