FLEXIBLE OR FIXED WORK TIME

                  Time is the most precious thing in our life. We cannot get back it, once when it is lost. In a study, we came to know that most of the time, a person loses his/her time in sleeping and speaking. Whatever is the condition, a person needs to earn money to fulfill his basic needs and desires. So, work is one important thing which fulfills, the need for money. In a certain places, the work timing is fixed and certain firms, the work timings are flexible. Now, let me discuss some points in favor of fixed time and flexible time

.                In flexible timings, there is no restriction to remain in office the whole time. You can remain in office, during core hours may be during important meetings and discussions. It also rejuvenates employees and boosts enthusiasm in them.They will always be motivated to complete the tasks as early as possible and concentrate in other activities. They will also have a time for recreation and other entertainment activities. There will be limited stress on them. They will have a freedom of timing. Certain people may have a habit of being very active during nights and certain in day time, this choice might be helpful in increasing productivity. They can also take breaks whenever needed so as to reduce pressure. One of the important benefit is that we can spend time with family and friends and can positively attend all the functions which will improve his relationship with others. It helps in managing the time to a better extent.

                  On Other hand, if we look at the fixed time, it helps in disciplined working environment. This flexible timing advantage can be misused and which might make people lazier. There are most of the jobs which cannot be made flexible. In a fixed time, your family knows your availability and they dont expect you during your working hours. But, when you look at the flexible timings, they might want you to be available whenever they want. This might make it difficult to manage work life balance. Unintentionally, there will be lot of time invested in unnecessary activities if the time is not being fixed.

                So, in my opinion flexible work timing is always a good thing to be welcomed provided if the employees utilise it in a productive manner. Else, it is always better to go upon with the fixed timing atleast which might be helpful in good productivity in that stipulated time

OVER CAUTIOUS

              One Kind of behavior that should not be possessed by all is over-cautious. It is good to be cautious, but over cautiousness limits the expansion of ones freedom. There would be a lot of restrictions that will be levied on the person when they feel him to be over-cautious.
