MISTAKES

                     Every people in and around the world are committing mistakes. No one in the world can say that they have never committed mistakes. Mistakes help us to realize the wrong things and they provide us chances to correct ourselves. It is always easier to blame others for the wrong things that happen and very difficult to accept the mistakes committed by us.

                     One should understand that mistakes happen unknowingly, we should not commit mistakes knowingly. suppose, if we have already committed some mistakes, we should try not to repeat it. We should not keep on feeling for the past mistakes. We should ensure that the same mistake is not being repeated and steps necessary to overcome these mistakes are on par. Mistakes cannot be given sizes as large and extra large. Their impact can be different, but mistakes are mistakes.

                    Sometimes anger also make us commit mistakes. Even committing mistake is not a sin, unless it gets revealed to others. We have to ensure that we are not being caught while committing mistakes. Committing a mistake and getting caught for that is again a disaster.

                   so, it is always advisable not to commit mistakes,even if we commit them beyond our control, we must ensure that the impact is less and very few damages are caused to others. getting caught is a bad thing but hiding the mistakes is even more worse and coming up with the solution for the committed mistake and ensuring that everything is in their right path makes life relishing.

TELEVISION - THE MEDIA WHICH HAS BECOME COMMERCIALIZED

                     Media is the one of the instant tools of communication. It should act as a source which must be an eye opener to people. It should pin point the truth and offend the crime committed whomsoever it they may be. Most of them does not know the happenings in and around the world, media acts as the bridge between  people and these important events.

                     But, at present Media has become commercialized. Especially, those TV channels which look upon the TRP ratings. They always wanted their channel to be at top. They want cheap publicity and will do anything for attaining the same. They give more importance to a celebrity marriage or rumors about them, rather than a good deed committed by a common man. Suppose, if a politician or business man commit some mistakes, media should be ready to pin point it. But, now-a-days media are afraid to do so. Since, it may affect the sponsors they get with the influence of government. 

                     The Debate sessions act as medium for cheap publicity. The recorded programs have no guts to deliver the whole speech. They just want to telecast the content which will improve the TRP and commercial value. They conduct many talent acquisition shows. But, to make them gain more audience, they create hype by making the contestant cry. To gain cheap publicity, is that a way to do so. Now-a -days there is lot of vulgarity being involved in TV shows. They used to hug and kiss in a public stage show. They say it as a western culture. But, they should understand one thing, even small kids minds might be disturbed by these shows. The next one is the reality show. It is not necessary, to showcase their heroisms unnecessarily, which might be imitated by children and affect their minds. Last, but not least TV serials, they teach us about the revenge and evil side of family relations. It should be reduced.

                       In my point of view, each and every industry needs to earn profit, then only they can run the firm or industry in a proper manner. But, profit maximization alone should not be the goal of media. Media should ensure that they are educative, informative, communicative, entertain able and less vulgar. Being commercial as well as educative holds good for the people who will be beneficial from media

REASONS FOR WHICH I HATE TOBACCO

                     We all know the Statement, Smoking is injurious to Health. It is very true, but one more thing must be added. It is not only injurious to the one who smokes, It also affects other persons who are present near by them. It is mainly a concern for the health ministry to protect the other citizens who doesn't smoke. Tobacco is the main ingredient in smoking. Many people use them as refreshment and for rejuvenating themselves. But, I hate smoking and tobacco as well. Now, let me list some of the reasons for hating Tobacco.

                    The major concern is the death of several people due to the mouth cancer. India have a signed a treaty with World health Organisation FCTC, but since many government entities are being involved in the manufacture of these cigarettes they are not ready to withdraw or reduce the manufacturing of tobacco knowing its ill effects. Even though, the cost of Cigarettes are being increased and the taxes being levied on them are very high, people are not bothered about the expense. But, if there is a increase in necessary commodities they are bothering to strike and raise voices against the ruling party and reducing the consumption. But, even if there is a rise in price of tobacco products, people are ready to buy them at any cost.

                    Having lot of things to be appreciated by other countries About India, the Consumption of tobacco at higher levels has created a bad impression on the international front. Yes, I understand that It becomes an addiction, but on the other hand, why should other people suffer for the enjoyment of you. A good manner to enjoy without causing any concern to others. It is their wish, if they want they can smoke but ensure that it does not harm others.

REASONS TO BAN PLASTICS

                     Plastics are the products which are used by us in our day to day life. Be it from the Mug, Buckets, Jug, Bath tub. Even we used to get the purchased products in plastic bags. We must understand that plastic is biggest threat to the environment. Now let me discuss the some of the reasons which i think as necessary to ban the plastics.

                     Plastics can pollute our land and water. Already many water bodies in our country are polluted by the waste items. being light weighted objects, they have a capability to travel a long distance which makes them travel to different water bodies as well as land areas. Manufacturing of Plastics, utilizes  our non-renewable resources which may in turn result in extinct of these resources. Plastics are non-degradable. It occupies lot of spaces in the environment. These bags also act as threat to those wildlife and marine life. It is difficult for these fishes and other marine animals to survive with the advent of these plastic particles.This indirectly affects human health also. People who  are consuming sea foods are being injected to these plastics indirectly which might spoil their health also.

                    Plastic bags are costlier to pay and are very difficult to clean up. Certain products are priced in addition to the plastic bags which they provide and in certain stores they charge separate amount to provide the plastic bags. It is always not possible to recycle plastics. We have lot of options other than plastics. We can utilize those alternatives rather than sticking up with these plastics.

                  So, having these many ill effects it is not advisable to use the plastics. Already a huge part of our environment is polluted. Having the benefit of future in our mind, it is a god initiative to ban plastics as being done in few countries. Even if they are not being banned in your part of the world, it is better to avoid from your perspective. It may be considered as a good deed you are doing to the environment.

FLEXIBLE OR FIXED WORK TIME

                  Time is the most precious thing in our life. We cannot get back it, once when it is lost. In a study, we came to know that most of the time, a person loses his/her time in sleeping and speaking. Whatever is the condition, a person needs to earn money to fulfill his basic needs and desires. So, work is one important thing which fulfills, the need for money. In a certain places, the work timing is fixed and certain firms, the work timings are flexible. Now, let me discuss some points in favor of fixed time and flexible time

.                In flexible timings, there is no restriction to remain in office the whole time. You can remain in office, during core hours may be during important meetings and discussions. It also rejuvenates employees and boosts enthusiasm in them.They will always be motivated to complete the tasks as early as possible and concentrate in other activities. They will also have a time for recreation and other entertainment activities. There will be limited stress on them. They will have a freedom of timing. Certain people may have a habit of being very active during nights and certain in day time, this choice might be helpful in increasing productivity. They can also take breaks whenever needed so as to reduce pressure. One of the important benefit is that we can spend time with family and friends and can positively attend all the functions which will improve his relationship with others. It helps in managing the time to a better extent.

                  On Other hand, if we look at the fixed time, it helps in disciplined working environment. This flexible timing advantage can be misused and which might make people lazier. There are most of the jobs which cannot be made flexible. In a fixed time, your family knows your availability and they dont expect you during your working hours. But, when you look at the flexible timings, they might want you to be available whenever they want. This might make it difficult to manage work life balance. Unintentionally, there will be lot of time invested in unnecessary activities if the time is not being fixed.

                So, in my opinion flexible work timing is always a good thing to be welcomed provided if the employees utilise it in a productive manner. Else, it is always better to go upon with the fixed timing atleast which might be helpful in good productivity in that stipulated time

DECISION REVIEW SYSTEM - PROS AND CONS

                      Being a cricket fan, I always wanted to know the advancements of technology in the game. The game not only depends on the Players, but also the Umpire. Umpiring decisions may also play a vital role in deciding the fate of the game. If a wrong decision goes against an inform batsmen, it might result in a disaster for a team. Similarly, if a wrong decision is given for a bowler, who finds out that batsmen was clearly out, reduces the confidence level of the bowler. So, to add an additional technology to detect whether the given decision is correct or not DRS(Decision Review System) has been invented. Hawk-eye, hotspot and snickometer are some of the tools which are supporting the DRS system.

                   Now, let me discuss about the advantages of  having DRS. It is always believed that DRS helps in attaining the Fair Decisions. In many games, the wrong decisions have been reviewed and many wickets have been saved and vice versa. It lessens the unnecessary aggression on field. Supposing, if a batsmen is made out via wrong decision, he might become aggressive and might scold umpire. But, if he has the review, he will clearly get to know whether, he is out or not, which reduces him temper and unnecessary aggression. In olden days, it was very difficult to find out whether the decision given by umpire is correct or not, but now-a-days we have technology to use it, so it always better to use it. DRS also checks whether each ball being bold is legal or not. In case, if there is a no-ball that saves batsmen.

                   On the other hand, it might seem to disrespect the on-field umpire's Decision. In certain cases, it has helped in making correct decisions but it is not fully reliable. Both players and viewers have complained it as not reliable. Whatever may be the case, there is some possibility of error to occur, even in the advancement of technology. One of the important drawbacks of this system is, it is too costly to implement. We need to spend $60000 for each game to implement this system. One more drawback is we have very limited reviews, if those reviews gets over, then there might be a chance of committing errors again, that time we have to go with on-field umpire's decision.

                  India Vs Australia Border- gavaskar trophy 2007-08 second test was the match which would be remembered all over the world for poor umpiring. That game had maximum number of wrong decisions, which raised the need for such kind of systems. It will always be a benefit to have such advanced systems with the accuracy being improved so that it satisfies all the players,support staffs, organisers, viewers and umpires.

WILL REMOVING NO DETENTION POLICY RESULT IN BETTER EDUCATION

Education is the basic need for people to understand different things and act accordingly. But, In our country Education is just used as a tool to enter into a company for job. It has also become one of the business now-a-days. There was a rule from government that, no children should be detained till their 7th standard. only from 8th Standard onward, they can be detained. Now, let me portray the advantages and disadvantages of having such a system. If the system continues, there will be no fear in the minds of the Children. So, they will be free and never bother to learn and that might make their brains weaker. The growth of brains will be stopped at that point of time. Those students might become incompetent. If they are not ready to solve those numerical problems, it will become very difficult for them, when difficult problems come in their life. Those students might become lagging behind the brilliant students. This might create complexity in the minds of the those budding kids, which is not good for them. Their level of learning gets minimized and their career graph might not move towards growth. Sudden Burden might be leived under them, when they are about to take competitive exams or school leaving exams, which might cause them stress. Now, let us look into the other side of the problem. These are little kids, so we cannot judje them by their academic performance in early stages of life. It will be helpful to them so that they can concentrate on other extra cirricular activity till that stage. They are very less aged and it will difficult for them to understand the criticism is for their betterment. If they are pressurized like this, there is a chance of them losing interest in the studies and might also become a school dropout. This might cause lot of impact on the children's mind and they might start to lose interest in everything and chance of ending up their life soon. So, it will always be better, if those chidren who are weaker in studies are given a special care and training, so that they can also clear the examination. It will be a bad idea to make them not detained. The fear of making them detained will help them in concentrating better in studies. So, in my point of view, this idea can be welcomed with steps to improve students with poor marks or grades.

ERRORS MADE IN OFFICIAL E-MAIL

At initial stages of employment, there are lot of chances in committing error while sending official mails. But, after gaining some experience, we have some chance of minimizing those errors and sending proper mails. But, we can't do those mistakes with our clients, it might spoil the reputation of our whole company. It is always better to avoid those kind of situations. Now, let us have a look into some of the mistakes which we all commit while composing these kind of mails. First and foremost error starts due to our communication in mobile sms or whatsapp Chat. In those Chats we wont use the full words. For example, we use "UR" instead of "Your". We are habituated to it. So, when we type these kind of words, we will use SMS language rather than formal way of expressing those words. This Should be avoided. Certain E-mails are always sent with direct subject without even giving courtesy to the sender. It portrays a rude behavior of us to them. A small greeting with the subject matter will ensure that everything is running in a smooth manner. We should understand that always speech English is not as similar as the one in written format, So we must avoid those and ensure that there are no grammatical errors. We must check twice or thrice before sending those mails to our clients. It is better to follow paragraphs or points format, which makes email look clean and easily understandable. We should write a email which is formal, but being too formal makes you unapproachable and communication barrier will be constructed. The tone in which we send mail should be in their understandable form. We must also try to avoid too much of technical jargons. one more thing to be avoided is too many abbreviations. These are some of the errors committed by me, but i was not allowed to send the mails directly to our clients. My teammates checked my mail and pointed out these kind of mistakes and ensured that these mails are sent to the clients. Not, everyone will get these kind of opportunities. It will always be better, if we ensure that these kind of errors are avoided from our side.
